Forex trading has become hot! Its heavy leverage allows traders to capitalize with big gains and the lure of huge profits sends many traders to forex on a daily basis. Sadly, most of these traders won’t be around for long. As many as 90% of all new forex traders lose their capital and bring their accounts to zero within six months. Largely because they come into the forex market with the mistaken belief that all they have to do is learn a trading system and trade by the signal their favorite indicator gives them and they will be able to average out a profit. What they fail to realize is the false signal can wipe out a large portion of their trading account.
 
At this point I might as well tell you I am no fan of indicators! Indicators are nothing more than mathematical algorithms of some sort of movement in price, with a few other variables added depending on the indicator. What the forex trader should be concentrating on is the price chart itself. Why? Because the trained forex trader will be able to tell much more about the market by watching price movement than with any indicator or trading system. Price movement tells the story of fear and greed, which are the two most important criteria a currency trader needs to be able to discern. The volatility of the forex markets creates many trading opportunities that can be spotted by watching the price chart. Candlestick trading for instance will teach you to spot reversals in price before the majority of other traders. Western technical analysis in its original form also allows the forex trader to spot weakening of trends and areas of likely reversals before the rest of the crowd.
 
Before we all had our PCs charts were drawn by hand. There was no fancy charting software or trading platforms. What we take for granted as an instant chart took traders of old a lot of time to plot. These were the pioneers of technical analysis and they were looking at the chart NOT indicators. Japanese Candlesticks, the best form of analysis in my opinion for forex, has been around hundreds of years. These technicians were very proficient in reading the mood of the markets and many became very wealthy doing it. Many modern technical analysts combine Western chart patterns with Japanese Candlesticks and also do quite well in forex.
 
Computers have brought us instant access to the currency markets but along with it have come hundreds of indicators which will do nothing but confuse the new forex trader in my opinion. If you must use an indicator, learn to read the chart first. Learn the major candlestick reversal patterns as they relate to forex as they are different than other markets. Then plot your indicator and see how it relates to the chart. I’ll bet you’ll find you trade from the chart more often than you think.

Century 21 Real Estate is a worldwide organization offering residential and commercial real estate. Century 21 Realtors are independent agents who either own a franchise office or work as a representative for the franchise owner. With the abundance of foreclosure properties, many Century 21 Realtors now specialize in bank owned foreclosure properties. This type of real estate transaction requires specific knowledge and skills in order to produce successful transactions.

Many Century 21 Real Estate websites publish bank owned foreclosures directly on their website. Details of distressed properties include property location, square footage, amenities, asking price and the name of the agent in charge of the foreclosed property.

There is considerable difference between bank-owned foreclosures and foreclosure properties sold through auctions. Bank foreclosures are oftentimes referred to as real estate owned (REO) properties. When properties are not sold through foreclosure auctions they are returned to the bank. When the bank takes possession of the property, the mortgage note becomes void and the bank can sell the property for the price they desire.

Foreclosure properties sold at auction are notorious for having creditor and tax liens attached to them. When individuals purchase auction foreclosures they are responsible for paying off these liens before they can take possession of the property. However, when the bank takes possession of the property, they negotiate with involved parties to have the liens removed or reduced.

Another common issue with purchasing foreclosure homes through auctions is the buyer will be responsible for evicting individuals still residing in the home. When buying bank owned foreclosures, the bank initiates eviction proceedings and the previous owner (or tenants) will be evicted before the property is placed on the market. Therefore, bank owned foreclosure properties are generally less stressful to deal with.

Buyers interested in purchasing bank foreclosures listed through Century 21 Realtors are required to adhere to certain financial arrangements. Typically, the buyer is required to obtain pre-approved financing and provide proof of funds at the time of their initial offer.

Many real estate owned foreclosures sold through Century 21 Real Estate are sold “as-is.” The buyer has the right to obtain a professional real estate appraisal prior to closing the deal. Should the appraisal expose significant problems with the property, the buyer will be given the opportunity to renegotiate their offer.

Two noteworthy benefits of purchasing bank owned foreclosure properties through Century 21 Real Estate include the properties are free of liens and no buyer premiums or commissions are paid by the buyer.

Many Century 21 real estate agents specialize in working with private real estate investors interested in purchasing distressed bank owned real estate. Other Century 21 Realtors specialize in working with banks and asset companies who have multiple foreclosure properties for sale.

Additionally, several Century 21 real estate agents offer numerous real estate services including listing and selling bank-owned properties, maintenance and security of distressed properties, eviction proceedings, interior and exterior clean-up, and maintaining utilities while the property is up for sale.

Bank owned foreclosures are nearly always sold close to market value. If multiple repairs and renovations are required, REO properties can end up costing more money than they are worth. Therefore, it’s crucial to conduct due diligence and ensure the property is a wise investment.

When investing in bank owned real estate, keep in mind many people will need to be compensated for their time. The bank wants to recoup their investment price and the Century 21 real estate agent needs to be compensated for their efforts.

One way to avoid the middleman is to seek out private real estate investors who purchase bank portfolios. By buying in bulk, investors can purchase distressed properties at wholesale prices and pass their savings along to you. It’s not uncommon to purchase bank foreclosures from private investors for as low as seventy cents on the dollar.

Forex Funnel Review

I have recently started dabbling in the Forex markets. To begin with I had no idea what Forex was (If you’re thinking “I know how you feel”, then listen up. Forex trading is just like the stock market, but instead of stocks it’s currencies. On a daily basis, currencies either grow stronger or weaker, based on this people then buy and sell them, approximately three trillion dollars worth!), however I quickly immersed myself into the Forex world and dived in with a MetaTrader 4 account in “demo mode”, which turned out to be just the beginning.

I realized very quickly that to be successful in this game, a business degree, a marketing qualification and an excellent grasp of mathematics would be necessary. The combination of these three skills would allow anyone to take substantial shares from this massive pot of cash. To take this one step further, traders who have been in this market for many years, have teamed up with other financial tycoons, computer programmers, and mathematicians to develop automated systems that actually mine the markets and collect data which is processed and produces profitable spreads on what to buy or sell at any given moment in time. Most people will know all this but I want the newbie’s to understand what’s going on.

So I did a quite a bit of research on the various forex trading robots already out there in the market. If you’re familiar with the industry, you may have heard of the forex killer, raptor, forex autopilot, assassin, 10 minute wealth, and many others. These products were all created for one reason, to mine the markets on autopilot and bring home big profits.

The truth is that the Forex markets are crammed with brokers, indicators, personal EA’s, fixers, consultants and specialists (proclaimed). When dealing with these people it opens up a whole can of worms of things that can affect your profits, such as; human error, flaw, corruption, morals, good faith, human intervention, terms of service, risk factors, to name but a few. Now, with these expert advisors that are fully automated, you remove all of the above problems, except of course for the risk factor, which unfortunately can never be shaken off. Still, it wouldn’t be much fun if there were no risk.

I myself didn’t spend enough time with all the EA’s to make my million overnight but I will say that the back tests, forward tests, demo accounts and results definitely put a smile on my face!

So there you have it, most of these EA’s are called Forex Tracer Automated Robot tools for a reason, because they are human made autopilot tools that reel off profitable spreads, and literally funnel money into your forex trading account.

Remember what we first covered in this article, one might want to consider acquiring a business degree, a solid understanding of advanced maths and embark on a marketing course. Of course if you’ve already got these skills in your arsenal then you might just be the next Warren Buffett, just forex style! It certainly beats having to trust some trading ‘firm’ or broker with your money, that I’m sure of. And it beats trying to do it yourself because if you’re new to this game, you’ll soon realize how many more levels you need to look through, to find that pot of gold.

But It’s a Recession

If you are like every other American, whether it is called a recession or depression, it is still hitting us hard financially. Based on the Bureau of Labor Services, as of August 2008, the unemployment rate rose from 5.7 to 6.1 percent. Employment also fell in manufacturing and employment services. Now is a great time to learn how to find and save money.

I have been married to my wife for 22 years. We have 4 sons. With a family this size, we learned a lot by just sticking to the basics. There were sacrifices made, but not as devastating as some think it would be. We started with making our own baby food. All you need is a food processor and an ice cube tray. Once a week, usually on Saturdays, we would puree the food and put it into the trays. One ice cube is equivalent to what majority of babies start out on, 2 tablespoons. We did not purchase special foods to puree; our babies ate what we did. As the boys grew older, we stayed with the philosophy of making my own dinners. We did not buy any already made dinners and stayed away from the box dinners. Several bags of pasta, a 5 pound chub of hamburger and several types of soup and we had dinners for a week. We kept the cost of even these items down by shopping at the discount food stores and warehouses. Our children were amazed at their own mother when she showed them she could feed a family of 5 for a week on $15.00! Everyone left the table full.

As our boys reached the Junior High and High School levels, a new challenge was delivered. Keeping up with the Jones! They have to have name brand shoes, name brand jeans, name brand everything. We quickly found some consignment stores, local church thrift stores and some national chain stores that offered great deals. Once again, my wife and I went shopping together and returned home with two (2) grocery bags filled with jeans and shirts. Some of the items still had tags on them from the original store they were purchased. Oh, and all of them were of a name brand. The clothes were washed, put on hangers and placed in the appropriate closets for the children. When they came in from school and changed clothes, their eyes lit up and asked if we had hit the lottery or something. All four were very pleased with their new clothes.

Our country is going through a lot of changes and Americans are going to have to find their way of changing with it. This does not mean we all have to sacrifice everything we own. It means we need to tighten the budget belt and find ways to lighten the burden of all the rising prices upon us. We have said something to each other for years now and it has become our so called motto. We have done so much with so little for so long that we are now qualified to do everything with absolutely nothing!
